2. After your MFB account is opened, you'll receive a few checks to use until your permanent checks arrive (7-10 business days). Your Debit/ATM card will be ordered if you request one.
   
   
3. Stop using your old checking account, but keep it open until all your checks have cleared and your direct deposits and automatic payments have been changed.
   
   
4. Authorize MFB as your new bank for direct deposits, automatic transfers and automatic payments.
   
   
5. Bring your old checks, deposit slips and Debit/ATM cards in. We will destroy them for you.
